Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of CHI ONE. Together with the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines, they make up the agreement between you and CHI ONE.

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Campus Outreach Chicago ("CHI ONE"), the app's developer. By creating an account, logging in, or using the app, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who may use CHI ONE

CHI ONE serves college students and ministry staff. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your region) to use the app. You may only hold one account, and it must be for you — not someone else, real or fictional.

Your account

Keep your login credentials secure and don't share them. You're responsible for activity under your account. Give accurate information when you set up your profile, and never pose as another person.

Acceptable use

Everything you do in CHI ONE must follow our Community Guidelines. They prohibit harassment and bullying, hate speech and discrimination, threats and violence, sexually explicit material, child exploitation, illegal activity, scams, spam, impersonation, doxxing, copyright violations, objectionable uploads, unwanted contact, and moderation evasion. Read them — they're part of these Terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you create in CHI ONE (posts, stories, moments, comments, messages, photos, videos, and profile details). You give us a limited license to host, store, and display it inside the app so the features you use can work. You're responsible for what you share, and it must comply with the Community Guidelines and the law. We may remove content that violates these Terms — and may be required to remove it by law.

Safety tools

CHI ONE includes tools to keep you safe: report options on content and accounts, the ability to block any user, and privacy controls in Settings. Use them freely — reports are reviewed by our team.

Enforcement

Violating content may be removed, and accounts may be warned, restricted, suspended, or banned. We may suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations, and we may take other action — including reporting content to authorities — where the law requires it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Community Guidelines. For material changes, you'll be asked to review and accept the updated version before continuing to use the app.

The service

CHI ONE is provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep it running but can't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CHI ONE and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
